There's just something I don't like about people being uncomfortable saying one thing in public but comfortable saying it in private (where private is defined as 430 of your peers).
I love that Pope Francis is bringing the Ignatian spirit to the Church and it's processes. It's surprising that the Bishops hadn't started their major meetings with an extended period of prayer before this. But that is norm for the Spiritual Exercises. An hour of prayer/contemplation each morning.
