I fall short of words to thank the "Pillar" for the enormous amount of work that goes into all this investigative reporting, and the manner through which it is presented to us faithful Catholics...so I just PRAY!!! Thanks Pillar team!!

I sadly fall into that category that does not believe the USSC will have the guts to overturn Roe/Casey. But I can dream. And in my dream the court does not merely overrule Roe and send it back to the states, but actually rules (legislates if you prefer, like Brown v. Bd of Ed) that an unborn child is a person entitled to all rights and privileges of a person, such as the right to life that no one can take away without due process. In one quick opinion the court could take away all the controversy and all the vile hate that will surely ensue if the matter is sent back “to the states.” The court could actually protect the unborn rather than let this 50+ year mess continue to sully the honor of this great land. Does Original Intent really require the court to turn its back on these most helpless of citizens? Or should the court blaze a path of integrity through the muck of precedent and stop the killing? Something worth praying for, I say.

There are lots of knights who became saints. A lot of them had other jobs as well (such as the chivalrous St. Louis, who was also king of France), or they cemented their saintliness by retiring into a religious order (like St. William of Gellone, who's the William of Orange in the Charlemagne knight legends; or St. Francis Borgia, who was a renowned knight first; or St. Nuno Alvares Pereira, who was a great military leader and knight but also a great giver and man of prayer). But of course St. Michael is a verrai parfit gentil-knicht, as well as being an angel of God.
