Thank you for all you do in service to Christ and His Church. I’m a religious priest. As such I don’t have the means to support The Pillar financially. But rest assured I support you with my prayers. May the Crucified Redeemer and his Mother be always with you.

Thank you for the encouragement you have given me through this insightful piece. My heart seems always in turmoil over our relativistic society's refusal to recognize that truth is truth, regardless of how many deny it, and falsehood is falsehood, regardless of how many endorse it. I am indeed tempted to fly into a rage over this willful blindness, more often than I care to admit. I am about to subscribe, to support your work.

I am a gay 77 year old man who has lived happily in a committed same-sex relationship for 41 years. I profess to be a Christian which motivates me to follow the demands of the teachings of the Christ.

Yet, sadly, I have been condemned and rejected by a Church and condemned as being “inherently disordered” and sinful for having and acted upon feelings and desires that are as normal to me as heterosexual attractions, desires, and emotions are to straight people. I can not deny my human sexuality as straight people can’t to theirs.

Human sexuality is complex. It is not just based on physical attributes. What makes us male or female is much more than our genitalia. The complexity involved in the development of human zygote into a fully developed human being is still not fully understood today with all of the advancements of science.

While I do not understand the complexity of human sexuality and its development, I will not be so bold as to express with 100% certainty that my genitalia solely identifies my sexuality. It seems your statement is far too filled with certainly.
