It brought to mind one of the war images from television where a pregnant woman said something along the lines of, "For this to be happening in the 21st century is unbelievable." I was unaware of the focus of the ROC on Ukrainian Catholics as a “problem”. Given what the troops they bless are doing to the cities in the Russian speaking and largely Orthodox East and Azov coast, one must fear what they will do to Catholics if they are allowed to prevail.
Excellent and perceptive article. The goal of Russkiy Mir is the re-establishment of Russian dominance over all lands formerly part of the Russian Empire. Unfortunately, this includes the Baltic States and Poland, which are now part of NATO, as well as Finland (who is likely to join NATO now). It is to be noted that Alaska was once part of Russkiy Mir, and there are politicians in Russia who want to see it returned to the Motherland...
