I have a question about the relationship between the Italian and Vatican justice systems. If Torzi, or any of the current batch of defendants, is found guilty, they will serve time in Italy's prison system, right? Would they be able to appeal their cases in Italy's courts, and would they stand before an Italian parole board or a Vatican one?
Makes me want to punch the air when I read about the ongoing process and the failure of those who have seemed untouchable, to stop it! Praise God that what Cardinal Pell started all those years ago, won't be all for nought! Continued prayers in this matter.
