This situation is sordid And ongoing. It has had extremely deleterious effects on the priests and people of the diocese.

We can only hope and pray that justice will be done and Stika removed. If he is not, he will only grow bolder and more reckless. We will become even more abusive to his priests and will likely force some to leave their ministry. He will continue to engage in risky behavior that could lead to millions paid in settlements and judgments. He must go.

It’s like watching the Titanic sink. Everyone knows about the fiscal and lack of transparency/accountability at every level of the leadership here.

There’s in desperate need in Mother Church to form and account Her Shepherds. The Faithful’s Stewardship is not geared towards self pleasure.

Shepherds are ordained and ordered, pun intended, for sacrifice For the greatness of the Faithful.

It's an odd asymmetry that when a diocesean priest is accused of abuse of office he is removed pending investigation if the allegation is "credible", but a bishop is in office and posting on social media about a vacation with an ex-seminarian while the investigation is ongoing.
