I thought I remembered reading something about all of Missouri’s Planned Parenthoods are closed down. Is that true? Also, as a southeast Kansan, unfortunately, there’s rumored to be a decent amount of border crossing going on.

I thought there was one in St. Louis. But not anymore. Our trigger law went into effect so now no abortions. Hope your Kansas amendment gets passed in August!!

"Two Americas" At the rate we are going we might end up as two different countries. Can the Union sustain the escalating and often vicious interactions regarding faith, morality and politics?

I have not gone back and looked up old data, but this actually seems less polarized and more jumbled than similar charts I have seen in the past. E.g., Oklahoma at basically the same level as Massachusetts and Hawaii despite very different laws and attitudes. The correlation with partisanship is roughly there but not as clear-cut as I would have expected.

Thanks for this, it is interesting seeing that the loosening of abortion laws led to an increase in New York, as well as allowing Medicaid to cover abortion also leads to increases in the abortion rate.

At least some children and mothers will be saved from abortion, even if only accounts for 22%.

Reported abortion numbers have not been reliable for years since the advent of “morning after” pills, et al. No one knows how many are utilized or if it terminated a pregnancy even if it was utilized.
