Please let these good nuns know that The John Paul II Medical Research Institute collaborated with a pro-life bio-tech company to produce an ethically derived stem cell line which can replace embryonic cells. That pro-life biotech company has been awarded a patent for this work. The John Paul II Medical Research Institute has also just submitted a patent for an ethically derived cell lines to replace abortion derived cell lines frequently used in drug testing and manufacturing. We continue to need prayers to convince the pharmaceutical companies to adopt these cell line. We frequently received calls from Catholics employed in the biotech arena who desperately want replacements for the abortion tainted cells, and we are pleased that we may soon be able to have these new lines available.
