I wish I could trust that the Vatican would not punish someone without a trial but I simply can’t. If they are willing to avoid taking someone to trial to avoid that individual being punished then it is not difficult to imagine them doing the opposite in this case. But I also don’t trust Cipriani who has been inconsistent in details about his sanctions.

It is like having two friends (if you would still consider them friends) blaming something on each other. The one friend has lied to you too many times to trust anything they claim and they are silent on some details which make you wonder what they’re hiding (Vatican). The other friend tells a story that doesn’t quite add up but it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility what they claim (Cipriani). Thus, you’re left to wonder where the truth lies. Yuck!

I am starting to think at this point it might be useful for The Pillar to save templates so that when writing articles pertaining to lack of accountability of clergy and prelates it goes much faster to give the team more time to do other things like eat keto bars or spend time with family

I mean seriously how many times will the Vatican keep allowing this
