I remember seeing a sign in Rome airport that claim that they're voted the best airport in the world. So Ed's claim is objectively true.
And I can see why: there is a digital sign board to indicate how crowded the washroom is, the faucets are the 3 in 1 (water soap air) and it's drinkable water too! And best of all, you don't have to bring out your laptop in the airport scanner.
Me too. I was afraid JD's unseemly cackling would irritate Ed into an annoyed silence. My experience of people talking about Masonic conspiracies is mostly unhinged crackpottery, so I was ready to hear about something real.
Just went through Fuicimino yesterday and I agree it is a great airport. I spent two weeks in Italy, three in Rome with nothing to do with Synod--hurray.
I enjoyed listening to your podcast and I was left wondering what the Synod has to do with Christianity. When I was younger I enjoyed the hypomanic weekend retreats; I am not sure what good they did for me except to keep me walking, which might have been good enough. Still, it seems like there is a "professional" clase in the Church that is only indirectly connected to Christianity, rather focused on power instead. Oh well, the Church hasn't changed much :-) .
I'm grateful to have learned a little about the P2 (Propaganda Due) scandal—even if only a very little—because I found J.D.'s cackling heckler's veto in the first half of the show quite vexing.

And every seat has electrical plug.
Other airports don't even have one for public.

I feel like whoever took out an ad for the Soul of the Apostolate a while ago got his money's worth.
