Hey JD, please let Ed make a point before butting in with your own opinion or disagreeing with him mid-statement. It is infuriating to listen to. He has the courtesy to let you go on (at length) on tangents, but you constantly interrupt him, especially when he is saying something you disagree with. I can't tell if you are deliberately doing this to throw him off the point or if you don't know how to have an adult conversation but Ed deserves the same civility he gives you. Every podcast recently has had at least one loose thread started by Ed that you have not let him tie up. Please stop. Thanks.
I think it goes both ways; Ed interrupts JD very often as well. It seems to me more of an indication of their very strong friendship and working relationship than as an indication of rudeness or not listening to the other person.
Thank you for this, it was hugely helpful in thinking through FS and it's consequences.
With how this has played out so far, is this going to put the cardinal archbishop of Kinshasa on people's radars for the next conclave?
Also, and I mean this sort of tongue and cheek, but will the Pope and Cardinal Fernandez be paying fair market value on their apartments because of "disunity"?
Travis is currently feeling under the weather, so if you could please pray that he recovers and we don't have to cancel our Christmas festivities.
Feel freaking better, Travis.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy! Saint Peter Canisius, pray for Travis! Saint John Cantius, pray for Travis!

There must be a more charitable way to say this. Be better.
There must be a better use of your time than policing comment sections. Be less intrusive.
"Culpable negligence"? Yes, very well said.

When you guys write the book for the Vatican financial trails, will we get a picture of the wall-sized conspiracy whiteboard?
