Too much of a financial hardship? As if it were not a "financial hardship" for regular "for profit" businesses?
The evidence of hypocrisy (when not downright malevolence) of so many so called "non-profit" institutions is unbecoming to say the least. They should be leading the way instead of trailing the pack as they evidently are.
I get that a 3 weeks parental leave policy is (much) better than no paid parental leave at all - but even for fathers, that is way too short to spend time and bond with the baby and really give the mother time to recuperate
For some Catholic employers, paid parental leave helps 'honor the family'
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for this reporting. This is pro-life work.
