Just as bad is that they failed to stand up for young people forced to take this vaccine just to go to school, or adults threatened with losing their job, and the effects on their family, because of these mandates.
On the Pope losing International Status and Immunity:
Imagine how much better our world and our Church would be if the Pope were indicted and convicted of harboring pedophiles...He did it, so have the last "X" number of popes but Certainly including Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict. So have each and virtually EVERY Bishop, Archbishop, and Cardinal.
Our church is suffering from a completely unaccountable Magisterium. They rule like feudal Lords, style themselves "Princes" and are never held to proper standards.
