How come you guys haven't talked about what is happening in Detroit with Vice President of the USCCB? Archbishop Allen Vigneron is accused of multiple sexual abuse cover ups. Shouldn't he removed while this is being investigated? Or is the old boys club still intact and US Bishops learned NOTHING from Mr. McCarrick. This is a grave matter and we needs all Catholic journalist talking about it.

Discouraging for someone interested in converting. A big appeal is the unity of the Church. Seems like it's headed towards a major schism, and in the US there will be a liberal/conservative version of the Church that basically adheres to the preexisting political dichotomy. Liberals will go with Germany, Conservatives with Rome.

So sexual relations outside of marriage, which clearly includes homosexual relations, have been condemned forever by Catholic Tradition, by the magisterium, and clearly by the Bible. The German clergy and others who back their opposition to this teaching need to justify “on what grounds”. If not, they should strongly consider leaving the Church. They are putting their own souls, and the souls the the people they are misleading, in jeopardy.

And in response to Dan’s comment on March 19th, you are right, and for the good of the Church, the liberals and their anti-Catholic positions should leave. I am sure that somewhere in the 40+thousand denominations, they will find one to support their positions, otherwise, they can easily just start another one and claim that the Holy Spirit is guiding them as well.
