You are absolutely right to see life in the trenches as the real thing, that to which we are called by Jesus. An awful lot of online content seems to be driven by a spirit of detraction: of other Catholics, of one liturgical practice or another, of this or that Holy Father. Some of it is just about getting clicks and attention. Some of it is downright theologically misinformed. Some is AI slop. Too much online of the « Catholic » online content is about ego, not love.
I will indeed pray for you. Ask the Lord to keep that charism of wisdom burning within you.

Well said! Catholic Internet wasn’t really the same as it was ten, fifteen years ago. We need young people like Jack to buck against the trends.
