The people who support abortion because of their anxiety about the life of the mother accuse us of "not caring about women." If that were true, why would Tepeyac exist? Why would Catholics be glad to know they exist and hope that such a useful model might spread everywhere? It only makes sense if we do care about both women and infants.

Meanwhile, do pro-choice people support anything that shows they value unborn children even a little bit? Are there pro-choice crisis pregnancy centers or are they trying to shut down what support a woman might receive from the Catholic Church?

Much of my working career was accounting work in hospitals. Those with NICUs were amazing in the efforts to save those tiny people. Needles smaller in diameter than a human hair. 24/7 one to one nursing care. Volunteers who rocked those tiny babies. And every day, in another location in the same hospital, healthier, more developed babies were being aborted. Thinking about it could make your head explode.
