Why use non-consensual intercourse and not rape? Is it a legal thing?

I would guess yes - rape has a very narrow legal definition in some places, such that a male could never be a victim of it. (Though one would then wonder if the same narrowness would apply to "intercourse?" I don't know, and it's the kind of thing that makes my stomach churn to think about, though somebody has to.)

In the world to come, we will all be competent to stand trial before a perfectly just Judge. Including McCarrick.

Better to suffer for one's sins in this world than the next, although my understanding is that McCarrick is living a life of penance and seclusion now. I hope he has repented and made a good confession.

There is ONE judge and we are all responsible to Him. I pray for McCarrick and his alleged victims and ask God to be merciful to all including me,a sinner.
