Just want to commend you for your work on the Grindr story. Thank you for exposing the truth, especially when I know it will cost you (and already has)

This is a comment on the “unhelpful observations” story about the negative reactions of bishops to the motu proprio restricting the TLM. The piece includes this bit near the end:

“But Traditionis custodes has been promulgated. It is the law of the Church. Even diocesan bishops who are sympathetic to the Extraordinary Form will have to take it seriously, and will likely need, for the sake of ecclesial unity, the trust and cooperation of those Catholics discouraged by the text’s norms.”

This reads like papal positivism. In your view, is there any limit on the Pope’s power to change the liturgy?

I have a really hard time accepting Catholic Charities and their work with the illegal immigration problem at the borders. Jesus said give to Caesars that which is Caesars and to God which is for Gods We have laws in this land and helping relocate , house and establish residency for illegal immigrants IS WRONG. You are breaking the law, condoning lawlessness, and supporting people illegally here. God's laws do not condone illegal activity. So yes, Catholic Charities, you can help US citizens here but help illegal immigrants in their own country. Obey the laws of the USA. IN helping illegal immigrants you are breaking the law, supporting law breaking by illegal immigrants and damaging the USA in so many ways. The other problem is that Catholic Charities is doing this for one thing only, MONEY. Their budget includes over $800,00 in administration costs. The social programs now initiated are not all in tune with the Catholic Faith. I ask faithful Catholics to become aware of the money they donate to certain so called Catholic Institutions. Catholic Charities will not be on my tithing list.

On Catholic Charities, they’re getting paid big by the government for their services. That’s being withheld from the article
