My grandma prayed the rosary every day. When she passed, I realized that her rosary had been lost during her illness, which broke my heart. Think of the years of prayers laid on those beads! I'm curious: do other families have heirloom rosaries that are passed down? If so, were the rosaries made to endure?

I wish Rings of the Lord much success.

My family buries our deceased with their rosary in their hands. My grandmother had a stroke, and was mostly non-verbal at the end. But when we said the rosary, she prayed with us. A real testament to our faith.

I thought everybody was buried with their rosary.

My sister had a several-generations-old heirloom one that was unfortunately stolen in a home burglary. My sister and I also have beautiful heirloom ones made by religious sisters in maybe Michigan from the rose spray from my father’s coffin. That is the one I use. I intend to split the decades one day and incorporate them into new rose petal rosaries I have made for my kids.

Shouldn’t it be “Blessed Carlo Acutis” rather than “Servant of God”?

Purchased a penal rosary right away; also already marking this as a gift for confirmation. Great work Henry - sharing your story with my son so he's a great young man doing good and loving Christ.

It is good to see a kindred spirit. I started making and giving away rosaries at around that age. I still have the habit of giving away any rosary that is on me. I will be buying one shortly and use it as my backup.

This boy is super inspiring. I had no idea about this history, first of all, but for him to be driven to build a whole business around it at the age of 15 is profound. Holy entrepreneurship! May the Lord richly bless his work for the kingdom.

How very cool. I'm a big Rugged Rosaries devotee for many of the reasons mentioned by Henry, but I might have to branch out and support his business (/ministry) with a few purchases as gifts. Keep it up, Henry, and I'll include your good success as an intention in my next Rosary!
