Why on earth are Cardinals deciding these sorts of things?! It is absurd to have a priest abandon preaching the gospel to invest millions of dollars. The Vatican ought not have any investments that are not needed and any investments that are necessary should be decided on by lay experts. We certainly have plenty of Catholic millionaires throughout the world who would do a much better job handling money. And if any of them defrauds the Church, well at least we were not defrauded by a spiritual leader.
