Ed., first I want to say you, your wife, and baby to be born are in my prayers. Obviously I have no clue what it’s like to be an expecting parent but it’s got to be wonderful and scary. Just remember Mary and Joseph do know and are right there with you in it all.

Congratulations to you and your wife, Ed. I haven't been around here long enough to have absorbed all there is to know about you all yet, but that is very happy news to coincide with the launch of the Pillar.

Many of us share your sentiment 'what can be done?'. 'How can we help?' regarding the poor, poor Afghans. There'll be a generation of people who don't know what life is like under the Taliban and generations of people whose knowledge of it must tempt them to hopelessness. Father in heaven, have mercy on all the frightened, suffering people in the world today. Give them hope and courage going forward. 🙏
