No matter what you do, you cannot be "ready" for the birth of your first child-so just ride along and be ready for the most transformational moment in your life. When you hold that child, you will fall in love in a way you did not know was possible...

Prayers for you, momma, and (of course) the Star of the Show :)

Ed, prayers to you and your wife and child, for a safe and healthy delivery. Having a child is a life changer, in a good way.

Also, I don't recommend Europe's "Final Countdown" on your playlist either.

I prepared a playlist per se, back then they were cassettes. Anyway, once I was in labor, I couldn’t stand any of it. Moral of the story, be flexible! God bless your family.

Good luck with the baby...prepare an alternate list just for fun...she might want it in spite of herself.

(10 kids, we played cards, Mr. President, watched baseball, prayed, listened to rock, classical, you name it, because while you may want calm music, the reality is, this is a hard battle and a marathon for her).
