Ed, “praedicate” is the verb in imperative form, not the infinitive, so it better translates as “Preach the Gospel” as a command/direction, not “To Preach the Gospel” as a statement. Keep up the great work! Cheers!

Is there an English translation of this anywhere? (Or do you guys wanna do it??? LOL)

I work in our diocesan chancery. For a while now, I’ve been desiring understanding more fully what the purpose and role of the diocesan curia is, and my belonging to it. Are there any Church docs that dive into this? I know the Code has a few canons about it, and Apostolorum Sucessores speaks a little on it as well. But is there an “instruction” like this one that goes deeply into it, or do you think Predicate Evangelium contains the bones within it that can be also applied to a diocesan curia?
