Curious: Have you looked into COVID's impact on Novus Ordo versus TLM attendance?
I know of at least four young Catholic families with 4+ children who left our strong NO parish in Michigan in 2020. They now drive an hour to Mass at a TLM shrine. They felt strongly that the sacraments should have never stopped. The TLM shrine never shut down or stopped offering the sacraments, as I suspect may be the case with other TLM churches.
Who knows. It could be a case that this time of Covid restrictions make a suitable basis for synodality in the Church's future. God often works in mysterious ways to facilitate things.
I would like to see the impact of livestreaming on Mass attendance. Watching Mass on your computer or television is NOT attending Mass. How many respondents who used to attend Mass regularly now do so only via livestream?
