What a bizarre mess. Out Lady Undoer of Knots, pray for us.

This is not our great grandparents’ generation. We’re talking about a woman born in the late 70’s. If the Nun was concerned she was pregnant she would have said, “I’m nervous because my period is late.” We say the word period nowadays, guys. Not some vague reference to “being late.” That sounds more like her seizure-disorientation talking. Has the Bishop ever met someone who has recently had a seizure? The Nun isn’t wrong - it really does mess with the mind. Loss of sense of time and place is a very real thing & cognition can come and go unpredictably for months. They need a doctor on this case. The lack of awareness of how the Nun’s vulnerabilities may have drastically mitigated her culpability or her accuracy is just being ignored & is an embarrassment.

Alternatively Fr. Bernard Marie could make an appearance and tell us what really happened. Presumably he’s not wheelchair-bound or suffering from cognitive fluctuations. I’ll wait.
