A quote I once heard, "I give my money to the church and say to hell with it." Story translated: it is my obligation to tithe, it is the Church's obligation to spend it wisely.
Having said that, hearing that some of the Peter's Pence money went to finance Elton John's movie Rocket Man was too much for me. I will donate money to some other charitable mission until I feel that Peter's Pence is back on track.
