A question came up listening to this one that I don’t think I’ve ever thought about before, and it was the proximity of the end of Kate reading the Gospel and the side-note at the beginning of the discussion of Malachi.
Is there a special significance that Anna is from the tribe of Asher? It was hearing that tribe name, and then hearing again that the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom were destroyed, that made it stick out.
I was sort of hoping it would come up. My mind starting grasping towards the Samaritan woman in John 4, but maybe I’m just pushing too hard. Maybe there were just some remnants of their tribes, but not enough to meaningfully consider the tribe as a whole.
