Any chance of a "Holy Bible, as read by Edward Condon" audiobook?

The last few minutes about Joseph the kingly protector gave me goosebumps! I always wondered whether Joseph would have thought of himself as *an* heir of David, one of many, or *The* heir of David. Can we call it "the Aragorn theory"?

Ite ad Joseph 🙏

I don't comment often, but y'all rock. Keep it up.

I had VERY similar thoughts. The whole last gospel segment was wonderful!

When Isaiah gave the sign, he addressed not "King Ahaz", but the "House of David". Certainly, that concerned King Ahaz, but Joseph could have seen that he, of the House of David, was intended recipient of the complete fulfillment of that prophecy. Dr. Scott's discussion of the Angel's words "Do not be afraid" may have said the same thing, but I needed to say it this way for my understanding.

Can someone clarify how Joseph would definitely be the king? Just because he is the son of the son of the... all the way back to David doesn't mean he's the only one. Is his lineage the first born son of the first born son...all the way back? Is he the oldest of his brothers?
