One thing that I would love a bit of clarity on is the amount of money the Vatican has access to in liquid or semi-liquid funds. Is the bulk of the money being provided by the private company APSA is partnering with? Because 100 million Euros is a lot of money. I've heard of major financial woes at the Vatican. There was a round of staff cuts and salary reductions fairly recently if memory serves, but then there's something of this scale being personally approved by the pope. Honestly, it leaves me scratching my head. I think there was an explainer here at the pillar about these different banks and funds at the Vatican and how they interplay, but it still seems unclear to me. Perhaps because they don't really do the thing they are supposed to do, hence all the trouble.

This is the hospital where Servant of God Chiara Corbella Petrillo received treatments. It’s also the hospital where my husband and I ended up on the first night of our honeymoon (long and crazy story, yes. Coincidence? I think not.). As we are naming our soon-to-be-born fourth child after Chiara, I’m glad to see the place is being looked after!

"..the Fatebenefratelli recuse deal ..." Should that be the rescue deal?
