All I can say that it seems icky that some Bishops have made this such a public global issue around US politics. It hasn't advanced public perception of the Church's sacred authority or understanding of the meaning of Communion. We come across as being bullies when we should be in an earnest phase of repentance and renewal for our terrible failures to children imho.

Bishops are perfectly capable of disciplining every politician in their dioceses, but none of them have. Why?
