Thanks for the heads up on the Carmelite Sisters. I needed that. Like many Catholics who are struggling to be faithful to Christ and the Church I’m feeling heartbroken by the almost wholesale apostasy happening in the Church in Europe and North America by both clergy and laity. I'm still confused why the Secretariat of State issued the degree regarding Mass at St. Peter's. Is this a power grab on the part of the SoS? Was this change ordered from on high but the Archpriest/Commissioner of the Fabric didn't want to issue it themselves? Is the SoS going to be in charge of issuing all unpopular announcements in the foreseeable future?
wow. love the Cardinal Burke text. thanks for that link! I also agree we all think we need more happy news, but we all still gravitate towards the bad. Maybe have a 2-3min spot each podcast with something good? "Chipper Condon?" "Flynn's Fancy?"
