Does anyone else get the sense that Dr. Powell gets so excited to talk about everything even remotely connected to the readings, he goes off on a million tangents on just the first one, then suddenly realizes the episode is halfway over and rushes through the psalm, epistle, and gospel? He talks about Wisdom from about 8 minutes in until 31:40. That's 24 minutes spent on 4 verses.
And honestly? I'm here for it. I just wish he did that for all of the readings, instead of hurrying to wrap up the show in an hour. It's a podcast; I don't care how long it is, I'll listen to the whole thing.
