I LOVE and miss Pope Benedict XVI SOOOOOOOOOO much! He's an authentic, faithful, Orthodox leader of Jesus' One True Church as St JPII was. God bless dear Pope Emeritus Benedict and may he live more years here on Earth with us. He was one of the two best of my lifetime!! +JMJ+

I pray every day that Benedict outlives the Argentinian.

The Argentinian respectfully is our present wonderful Pope Francis. Pray for him also. He is much more than the Argentinian. He is the Spirit led representative of Jesus Christ on earth.

Sounds like Tommaso De Benedetti does this sort of thing to expose the media for not fact-checking their information or sources. He thinks this is a good way to expose the media, but as JD points out, is very sophomoric and ill-mannered. God Bless Pope Benedict XVI.

I am glad to hear that the Pope has suggested that Biden get some counseling. As for the church in Maryland, remember that Mrs. Pelosi was congratulating the Pro Abortion advocates a few weeks ago for their efforts to keep abortion legal. Can anyone spell excommunication?

I hope that Pope Benedict makes it to 100! He is so close!

The evil spirit trumpeting in the ears of Ukrainians beyond all the human "experiences"--physical, mental, emotional, and psychological--is that they do not have the right to exist. The priests are there with them. But so is Jesus. He is in each person, including each soldier committing a crime. He suffers WITH. He suffers with the priests' feelings of helplessness, the residents' crying out to heaven for vengeance, and the darkened, blind souls of the evil-doers. We too wish to be there alongside them, to help, to support, and to stand against evil. I would hope that the Catholic world would start enlisting the help of religious sisters who don't have the same responsibilities as priests. They have a wealth of faith, hope, love, and knowledge about God that could bolster and uplift those of us who fall into dire straits. That is when our faith is most tested, after all. For those reading this comment, I refer to Sr. Kathryn James Hermes who conducts "Heartworks." May Catholics turn to more religious sisters.
