"203-page document"

"2003 Ratio Nationalis was a 111-page text...it broke the process down into three stages"

"new Ratio Nationalis is significantly longer and more systematically organized"

-Longer, and broken down into more specialized sections. How very German.

"The new document wants to prepare priests to operate in a synodal context, where decisions are discerned through a prayerful dialogue between clergy, lay people, and bishops."

-Less leadership from the clergy and more committees, yup, definitely German.

The most unrealistic thing about the movie Project Hail Mary is that a German project manager would be so efficient in her decision-making processes

Good to hear my brethren abroad also think "instead that reform could best be achieved by a stronger focus on communicating the content of the Catholic faith and 'more offerings with spiritual depth.'"

Notice that the 3 priests being ordained in the photo are from Eichstatt, which is one of the 4 German dioceses that do not support the German Synodal Way. These priests were attracted by their bishop's orthodoxy. Why would any man truly called to the priesthood want to be ordained by one of the 23 heretical bishops who are leading German Catholics to Hell? Since the priesthood in the West is not a perfect hiding place anymore for homosexual pederasts who had a pick of young men and boys to abuse, it is not so appealing as it was for most of the modern German bishops when they joined the seminary because it was dominated by homosexuals. Therefore the current bishops cannot understand how young men may want to join the priesthood to be holy men of God leading people to salvation through the Sacraments, and not to bless gay "couples" who have similar sexual attractions as the bishops and older priests who bless them. But these young men want to be taught and surrounded by holy mentors, not perverts, so they don't enter the diocesan seminaries in Germany. They don't need more females teaching them, but rather less homosexuals and heretics teaching them.

I tip my hat to any young man who wants to serve as a priest in the dysfunctional German Church of today. May God go with him and Holy Mary, St Joseph, and St Michael protect him.

I'm sure someone like St Toribius of Mongrevejo would have said the same about the mess which was the Lima of his time. I join you in your prayer for the brave saints in the making who are being raised up even now to go into the fields, white and ready for the harvest.

The Church here is not as bad as people make it out to be. I live and serve here as a priest. If you stay close to Jesus with a committed prayer life, you will shine out his light, and that is possible for everyone to do. Structures and upper-level meetings/documents have their place, but the real transformation happens on your knees. That's what our people need.
