Foremost - I wish the cardinals all the best, that the consistory may bear much fruit.
That said, it's quite sad to see that the consistory's focus questions are very anthropocentric. Everything is horizontal; focused merely on human experience and human relations, for the end of fostering human experience and human relations. But what of God? God is not named in any of the questions or session titles! It's all about us, all about "me." These questions might appear that the Church is looking at herself, sure... but it's more navel-gazing than it is soul-searching.
I am reminded of an insightful quotation of Pope Leo XIII: "The world has heard enough about the so-called Rights of Men; let it hear something of the Rights of God"

It does seem that Church leadership has lost its supernatural perspective and passion to evangelize.
