The end of the International Eucharistic Congress sounds absolutely amazing. I'm glad JD was wrong.
Speaking of Quito, did you find any Quito-bricks there?
I will confirm for Ed that JD’s ditty is a real song. But I must have learned the PG-13 version because I’ve always sung “the monkey, he got drunk, and fell on the elephant’s trunk.”
And I’m shocked to learn that a man as cultured as Ed is unacquainted with Cake.
[JD's dad] "he had this, the only thing you could call it is a garrot really. This metal wire...wrapped around his fist, because we walked around some pretty bad neighborhoods at night."
- He's a Steelers fan. It's instinctual, like how Eagles fans carry batteries in their pockets to throw at people.
(Please don't hurt me Steelers and Eagles fans. It's just a small joke.)
So, The Pillar sports column when?
The way I learned it was, “The monkey he got drunk and sat there n the elephant’s trunk…”
